Labor book for the week of May 12, 2008
Collective Bargaining and Labor Relations, 4th edition
By E. Edward Herman
This is a well executed and readable text used extensively in undergraduate and graduate-level programs that will be helpful to even the most experienced union leaders while providing interested activists with a serious and broad-based understanding of collective bargaining and labor-management relations. It would be difficult to find a more thorough examination and explanation of the complex subject matter that is the labor-management dance.
